Al Kabir -The Great is one of the 99 names of Allah - which is also His Divine attribute. 

The Holy Quran says. "He knoweth the Unseen and that which is open: HE IS THE GREAT, the highest. It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly; whether he lie hid by night or walk forth freely by day.”

Its quite inconceivable for humans to comprehend the greatness of Allah. We haven't been able to know the extent of the universe which surrounds us and understand its mysteries. While all we see is the creation and not the creator. 

The night sky in the blue-black painting brings back the memory of lying down under the sky and watching the infinite number of stars, many light years away, and wondering about the greatness of the Almighty.

The overwhelming feeling is His greatness is beyond measure. His creation is beyond great perfection. He is the Greatest.
