Al Ali -The Highest,  is one of the 99 names of Allah - which is also His Divine attribute. 

The painting strives to depict the ethereal attitude which appears to be out of our reach for us humans. Though we see the heights relative to our existence and understanding. While we often forget the presence of many dimensions which may exist at much higher planes or vibrational energy, on this or some other realities not known or beyond as grasp. Like Holy Quran states "That is because Allah is the (only) Reality, and because whatever else they invoke besides Him is Falsehood; and because Allah, HE IS THE highest, Most Great. Seest thou not that the ships sail through the Ocean by the grace of Allah?"

The concept of this contemporary expressionistic style of painting could belong to a 20th-century  art movement in Middle Eastern Art called "Haruffiya", based on the term 'Haroof' which means 'the word' in Arabic. In this movement artists focussed on they focussed on breaking the ‘rules’ of calligraphers from the past to create radical new artworks. But its rendition blurs those boundaries too.
