Garbage In Garbage Out ( GIGO ) – We all know that computer terminology. It happens to most humans too, we only are capable of giving back what we receive by way of exposure and taking in. If one reads trashy books and watches mindless entertainment then expect the mind to churn out great masterpieces of immense value. then it’s a delusion.

An authentic artist is careful about what goes in as information to the brain, and the feelings that might be created as a result. Over the period of years of my creative practice, I have experienced the impact of what I surround myself with, be it the books, people, or the environments that I have exposed myself to. If you read or listen to a lot of good books, and keep seeking knowledge or inspiration from even the garbage bin outside on your walks, then you can reverse this equation. You can take the garbage in, process it with your creativity, and give a Creative Output. Let’s call it GICO !!
