The forgiver and hider offaults. He who
forgives the sins and makes
the sinners forget

traceof the feeling of
regret remains in
their
memory.
“Say: “O my Servants who
have transgressed against their souls! despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for HE IS OFT-FORGIVING, Most Merciful.”

From the root gh-f-r with the classical Arabic connotations: to cover, veil, conceal, hide, pardon, forgive, to set aright to cover a thing to protect it from dirt
Alllah completely forgives our sins and faults. The One who accepts repentance and pardons sins and faults.
He veils or forgives our faults and sins such that they are not seen by anyone else, not even the angels.
He is the perfection of forgiveness. The One whose forgiving demonstrates excellence, completeness and perfection of forgiveness.
